Yes, we encourage prospective students to experience our teaching style and methodology firsthand. As we are already very established and to minimise disruptions to our existing students, we offer a “Trial Month”. Do contact us to arrange for it.

Is the pace and sequence of teaching the same as my JC?

Some schools move faster than we do at TET. We intentionally move at a slightly slower pace. Some parents and students may not appreciate this and wonder why. Fortunately, many students appreciate our pace because they know they are finally understanding A-Level Econs! As the saying goes, “slow and steady, wins the race!”

As some JCs tend to follow a very different sequence from the syllabus, we form customised groups for their students – in particular, for VJC and NYJC students.

I am already in JC2. Can I still join? Is there JC2 Econs tuition program?

It is not too late, but we must act fast. While starting early is ideal for building “Mental Muscle,” we have a specialized protocol for late joiners ie in JC2. We focus immediately on High-Yield Exam Strategy and Gap Filling. Many students who join us in their graduating year still achieve Distinctions by combining regular classes with our intensive bridging lessons or ad-hoc 1-to-1 acceleration sessions to catch up quickly.

What actually is JC Economics about?

JC Economics explores how individuals, firms and governments make decisions in the face of scarcity. It covers Microeconomics (individual markets) and Macroeconomics (the whole economy), providing comprehensive understanding of Economics principles and their real-world applications. You’ll learn about topics like Market Failure. International Trade (for H2 Econs only) and Economic Growth, including how these concepts impact our daily lives.
